Ford County Highway

This section is located on Lehigh Road (CH5) 100N from 1200E to US Rte. 45 in Ford County, Illinois. The work performed on this section consists of cold milling the existing pavement, resurfacing with hot mix asphalt level binder and surface course, laying aggregate shoulders Type B along the edge of the pavement on the mainline and at the intersections and doing all other necessary work to complete the section.

Porter Ave Watseka

This project consists of an installation of a 24” concrete storm sewer on Porter Ave, in Watseka Il. The storm sewer trench was patched with 2” HMA Binder course and the entire roadway was milled and replaced with one lift of HMA Surface course.

I-57 at Paxton

Illinois Route 394

We performed asphalt patching, grinding and resurfacing on 5.94 miles on IL-394 from Steger Road to just south of Elmscourt Lane in Crete, Steger and Sauk Village. The Illinois Department of Transportation nominated us for an Asphalt Paving Award on this project. Back to Projects

Watseka Commercial Parking Lot

Bridge Over Iroquois River

This project involved the total replacement of the existing bridge of Illinois Route 1 over the Iroquois River. The work included cofferdams, 38-foot piers and 350 feet of steel reinforced concrete superstructures, reconstruction of the roadway with hot-mix asphalt pavement and shoulders, aggregate shoulders and guardrail removal and replacement.
