Safety

At Iroquois Paving, we constantly strive to maintain a safe working environment on all of our projects and in our offices. The goal of our safety program is to prevent accidents, preserve equipment and achieve safe working practices. We accomplish this through our rigorous safety policies to:

  • Prevent accidents and other unplanned occurrences that result in injury to employees, interruption of production or damage to equipment or property.
  • Initiate and maintain a safety program in compliance with regulations as defined in OSHA 29CFR 1926 Construction Regulatory Guide.
  • Take all action necessary in engineering, planning, designing, assigning and supervising work operations to establish and maintain safe working conditions on projects and at facilities.

For us, safety is more than a goal; it’s a condition that everyone who works with us and for us must embrace.

Sustainability

Our commitment to the environment can be seen on every one of our projects. As strong advocates in keeping our environment clean, we utilize recycled asphalt, concrete and shingles in our production process. We also recycle and reuse any on-site materials that we can. We base all our construction and production practices on the most environmentally sound procedures. We build sustainability by making sure we leave every job site better and cleaner than it was before.

Asphalt is the most sustainable material for constructing pavements. From the production of the paving material to the placement of the pavement on the road, rehabilitation or recycling, asphalt pavement minimizes the impact on the environment. The low consumption of energy for its production and construction, low emission of greenhouse gases and the conservation of natural resources make asphalt the environmental pavement of choice.
